(However, only clarinetists using the German system are eligible to apply for the Karajan-Akademie audition, while those using the French system are eligible to apply for the GMF quintets scholarship selection.)

Age Limit
· Karajan-Akademie auditions : up to 26 years old
(as of Karajan-Akademie admission date)
Applicants under the age of 21 are asked to submit a letter of recommendation from European professors or a member of the Berliner Philharmoniker stating that they are already in the final phase of professional preparation.· GMF Quintet : Applicants are eligible from high school students up to 26 years old
